Patch 1.3 — List of Changes

miHoYo Games announced that Genshin Impact, the latest game in their flagship franchise, will be entering the closed beta for Nintendo Switch phase of development.

The closed beta phase will be limited to invited players, with beta keys being distributed on a limited basis.

The game is expected to have a beta testing phase that will last six months, with a full-fledged release scheduled for later in the year.

Gameplay Changes

• The game's open-world environment has been redesigned to allow for a higher degree of verticality
• Combat has been reworked to allow players to switch between different weapons during battle
• The game's skill tree has been reworked to allow players to choose from a wider variety of skills
• Players will be able to choose from a variety of starting weapons, with multiple weapon types available
